STUDENT - EDUCATOR - ARTIST

ALAINA CABALBAL
Hi, my name is Alaina Cabalbal, and this is my 4th year at Colorado State but my 5th year in college. I transferred from a university in Seattle to CSU after my 1st year and have loved it here in Colorado! I am currently pursuing a degree in Art Education and excited for what the future holds after I graduate!
I work with multiple mediums in my artwork and love sharing my knowledge with others! I didn’t realize I wanted to become an art educator until I was about 17 years old and I have been working towards it ever since! I believe that art education is important for students to learn not only because it allows them to be creative and have fun, but art is also interdisciplinary!

E-Portfolio Description
In this e-portfolio you will see my learning and works throughout my past 4 years here at CSU. My blog allows other educators to get possible new ideas for their classroom. It also allows me to go back and see what I have personally changed with my teaching and how to better it. I have artifacts for each teacher quality standard to show that I am able to achieve those standards. Lastly, I have my student teaching that explains what I learned throughout my student teaching experience.
